Jaime Martin is a writer, performer, comic artist, and professional nerd. His work has been performed at such diverse stages as the Bowery Poetry Club, the Nuyorican Poets Cafe, the LouderArts Project, LoserSlam, JC Slam, and the New York City Comicon. He was the co-host of the Nerd Slam at the 2009 Individual World Poetry Slam. He spends a lot of his time being comforted by old episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Doctor Who and reading comic books in trade paperback form, often while scooping (that's right scooping) cheese into his mouth. He currently lives and works in New York City and wishes they would bring Firefly back. He records a podcast in which he interviews people, is nerdy, and often wrong.
Justin Woo is a Rutgers graduate, Jersey City resident, and Chinese-American poet, audio engineer, theatre artist, and DJ. He has performed at universities, theaters, and slam venues throughout the Northeast including the 2007 NYC Fringe Festival and the Tony Award-winning Crossroads Theatre. He's a video game, RPG, and board game enthusiast. He occasionally runs into Angelo's room, swings a fist at him and screams "TITAN PUNCH!" He feels extremely lucky to be married to Carolyn Light. He still can't believe you haven't played Planescape: Torment.
Carolyn Light is a singer-songwriter, audiobook narrator, and complete and total nerd. She favors fairy tales, puzzle and role playing games, and folk music. She thinks there needs to be more female representation in pretty much everything. Her ideal band involves Florence Welch, Neil Gaiman, and Zombie Johnny Cash. For now, she's in two bands - Patchwork Alchemy and The Gully Hubbards, while pursuing a solo career as well. Her audiobooks can be found on Audible.com. She sleeps when... wait, sleep? What's that? Is this some new thing?
Angelo M. D’Argenio has been a dedicated gamer ever since he was able to dangerously chew on the wires of a Mattel Intelivison controller. Game journalist and writer/editor for Cheat Code Central, Shoryuken.com, Geek Party, and of course Nerd Pro Quo, Angelo has dedicated his life to looking at games as art, games as sport, and games as practically anything other than a waste of time for children. He has had a small but lucrative professional gaming career, has run and organized gaming tournaments and conventions, and has acted as a game designer on multiple gaming projects.
When he is not talking about or playing games, you can find him leading educational panels and doing comedy performances with Disorganization XIII, a performance group that has been featured at conventions such as Otakon, New York Comic Con, and PAX East. He also is a fan of comic books, geeky movies, roleplaying games, tabletop games, and shouting about random political issues with Justin and Jamie. Also dick jokes. He also likes making dick jokes…. Professional dick jokes!
